Jennifer grew up in the hills of Monroe County, West Virginia where she spent her days exploring the forest and visiting nearby family members. She spent many hours at her grandmother's knee listening to tales of the old time ways and people.
Her love of reading began at an early age when, in third grade, she read her first chapter book, “Ramona” by Beverly Cleary.
It was a natural progression when, in middle school, she submitted two stories to a county-wide writing contest and won first and second place. Her journey continued when she wrote a bluegrass song that was recorded by the band, West Virginia Bluegrass Connection.
Jennifer is an elementary school teacher and has a passion for writing, especially stories with valuable life lessons. She has a special interest in creating stories which contain nuggets of biblical truth.
Her hobbies include quilting, cooking, gardening and, of course, reading.
